Terms of Use Policy
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and participation in the Foundations in Science of Design course (“Course”) delivered through the NeuroDesign Academy learning portal (“Portal”). By enrolling in the course, you (“Student” or “Participant”) agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for or access the course.
1. Course Access and Accounts
Enrollment in the course grants the student personal, non-transferable access to the learning portal and course materials for the duration stated at registration. The student is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and may not share access with any other person. The course provider reserves the right to suspend or revoke access for misuse, unauthorized sharing, or violation of these terms.
2. Course Content and Intellectual Property
All course materials, including videos, presentations, text, assessments, graphics, branding, and downloadable resources (“Content”), are the intellectual property of NeuroDesign Academy or its licensors. Students may not reproduce, share, distribute, modify, publish, or resell any content, whether in digital or printed form, without prior written permission. The content is provided for educational and personal professional development purposes only and may not be used to create derivative training, certification programs, or commercial offerings.
3. Non-Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the course and immediate access to learning materials upon enrollment, all sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or transfers will be issued for any reason, including schedule changes, changes of interest or expectations, or technical limitations on the student’s device or connection. If the course provider experiences a system outage that prevents access, reasonable efforts will be made to restore service promptly.
4. Technology and Access Requirements
The student is responsible for ensuring they have suitable technology, software, and internet access to participate in the course. The course provider is not responsible for access limitations caused by the student’s device, browser, network, or third-party services.
5. Certificates and Completion Requirements
Course completion certificates are issued only when all required modules, assessments, and activities are successfully completed. Enrollment does not guarantee a certificate, designation, or professional accreditation unless stated in the course description.
6. Code of Conduct
Students agree to participate respectfully in any discussion areas, workshops, or group activities. Harassment, abusive communication, or plagiarism may result in removal from the course without refund.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The course is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice. The provider makes no guarantees regarding business outcomes or financial results from course participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the course or use of the portal.
8. Modifications to the Course or Terms
The provider may update course materials, delivery format, or platform features at any time. These Terms may be amended periodically. Continued access constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
